President, Softek Technology Services

After serving nine years in the United States Air Force, Tony Wenick transitioned his military training and formal education into a successful career in IT—earning his Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) credential and building over 32 years of hands-on technical experience.

Today, Tony leads Softek Technology Services alongside his son John, guiding a team of certified technicians with a focus on dependable, future-ready IT solutions for businesses across Middle Tennessee. As President and co-owner, he brings a leadership style rooted in discipline, service, and a commitment to doing what’s right for each client.

Outside of work, Tony enjoys spending time with his wife Rachel and their large, blended family of nine children and nine grandchildren. He’s also active in his local Jeep club and loves basketball, hunting, and fishing.

Vice President, Softek Technology Services

With a background as a Healthcare IT Executive, John Wenick brings sharp business insight and a results-driven mindset to Softek. He joined the company with a passion for helping clients optimize their IT infrastructure—not just through technology, but by identifying cost savings and strategic improvements in their systems and vendor invoicing.

As Vice President and co-owner, John works closely with his father Tony to deliver trusted, forward-thinking IT services to businesses across Middle Tennessee. Their combined experience and leadership ensure clients get the best of both technical skill and strategic guidance.

Outside the office, John enjoys spending time with his three sons—usually swimming, shooting hoops, or chasing their next outdoor adventure.

IT Support Specialist

Scott is a certified IT Support Specialist with over 8 years of hands-on experience in electronics, networking, and Windows operating systems. He holds an A+ Certification and brings a solid background in both troubleshooting and working with various types of testing equipment.

Known for his adaptability, efficiency, and calm under pressure, Scott excels at multitasking and getting the job done right—the first time. His attention to detail and commitment to quality make him a valuable part of the Softek support team.

Network Engineer

With over 20 years of experience in IT networking and systems, Miguel is a trusted expert when it comes to server management, infrastructure, and network reliability. At Softek, he ensures clients have the confidence and coverage they need to keep their systems running smoothly and securely.

Outside of work, Miguel enjoys heading to the beach, swimming, and relaxing at home with some competitive PC gaming.

IT Support Specialist

Adam brings a strong background in telecommunications and systems maintenance to the Softek team. With hands-on experience across both Windows and Mac platforms, he delivers versatile support that helps clients stay connected and productive.

When he’s not solving tech issues, Adam enjoys camping with family and friends and spending time outdoors—where he’s most in his element.

IT Support Specialist

Gerald is a U.S. Army veteran and IT professional based in Dickson County, Tennessee. He served from 2015 to 2018, including a deployment to Afghanistan with Fort Campbell’s 3rd Brigade. After completing his service, Gerald earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and officially joined the Softek team in 2024.

Known for his discipline, focus, and problem-solving mindset, Gerald brings both technical skill and real-world perspective to his role. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, grilling, spending time at the gun range, playing blackjack—and more recently, golfing.
